Code of Ethics

A code of ethics is a business text that outlines professional values that employees and representatives are expected to follow. It specifically centers on what is required during customer/client interactions. Most codes of ethics are values-based and specify ways to establish and maintain integrity and a positive reputation for the business.  What does that mean for the customer?  It means being treated with honesty and respect from your vendor.

At A Ran Music Service, we’ve created our own code of ethics:

• We will never smoke, drink, or fraternize on the job. Our client can be sure that he or she will always receive our full attention and focus when servicing an event- no hinderances.
• A signed agreement is respected and binding. A client’s date will never be cancelled or overthrown.  Too often we hear of disgraceful circumstances where a DJ has cancelled services for a client.  Many times it is because another opportunity has come along- offering more hours; higher pay.  There is no dollar amount that could dissuade us from following through on providing promised services to a client.  If the event has been contracted, it is our concentration and we are dedicated to delivering on our agreements.
• All music will be obtained rightfully. We are a licensed and insured company that abides by all laws and regulations regarding legalized purchase and downloads of music.
• We will adhere to all set noise ordinances and will ensure that all required permits are obtained prior to servicing events. We respect our law enforcement officials and the statutes that they set.  These questions are asked of the client and/or event coordinator prior to us agreeing to service an event.
• We will continue to educate ourselves in music trends and sound/lighting techniques so that we can ensure we are providing the current, optimal level of service to our clients.

We invest much because we are zealous about what we do and we value our clients.  It’s an honor to service a client. When a client chooses us, they are inviting us to be a part of an important moment. What an amazing opportunity to assist someone with celebrating!  Our clients are the reason that our business continues to exist.  We treat every event as if it is of the utmost importance.
